About Performance Improvement Journal Published in partnership with John Wiley & Sons,
Inc., Performance Improvement is an acclaimed journal geared toward
practitioners of performance technology in the workplace. Learn from hands-on
experiences with models, interventions, "how-to" guides, and ready-to-use job
aids, as well as research articles. Performance Improvement also offers
updates on trends, reviews, and field viewpoints. The journal deals with all
types of interventions and all phases of the HPT process. The common theme is
performance improvement practice or technique that is supported by research or

About the Editor Holly Burkett, CPT, MA, SPHR, Editor-in-Chief
Formerly with Apple Computer, she created organizational readiness strategies for results-based performance improvement efforts and led the operation's first performance measurement impact studies, including a study that earned a select ISPI Research Award Grant. Holly's publications background includes: co-author of The ROI Fieldbook (in progress); author of the evaluation chapter in HPI Essentials (2002); ROI case studies with ASTD's In Action series (2002, 2001, 1999); co-author of an ASTD Info-Line, "Managing Evaluation Shortcuts" (2001); and featured profiles as a best practice evaluation practitioner in such journals as the United Kingdom's Industrial & Commercial Training (2005); Istanbul HR Journal (2004-2005); T & D Journal, and the Japanese HRM and Training Magazine(s) (2000).
