Margo Murray Awarded the 2021 Distinguished Service Award

Margo Murray, MBA, CPT, C-EI, has earned ISPI’s highest honors – Outstanding Member, Member for Life, President, and 2017 The Geary Rummler Award for Performance Improvement. Currently, as a "historian" appointed by the ISPI President Nancy Burns, she is helping to rebuild records and historical evidence for ISPI archives. Over the years, she had volunteered as Officer and Committee Chair for ISPI for more than 50 years.
Margo has chaired the ISPI Executive Board, planned and presided over the 25th Anniversary Conference, and served on Senior Advisory Panel and senior liaison to Conference Committee. She presented numerous times at ISPI annual conferences and ISPI EMEA conferences. For many years, she continues to serve as a mentor to many ISPI leaders, including the board of the Bay Area/Boise State chapter.
She has been the senior advisor to the award-winning Bay Area/Boise State Chapter for many years. Looking back, she has continuously made a tremendous contribution to the chapter: providing feedback and guidance on each board meeting, being a mentor to a lot of board members, guiding the board through strategic planning, etc. She has introduced the ISPI/ISPI Bay Area/Boise State chapter to many of her colleagues and clients. A lot of them have joined and became active in ISPI and Bay Area/Boise State chapter.
